Yeah, yeah...it's supposed to be 'Wordless' Wednesday, but today I have a lot of words to share. So instead, you get 'Wordy' Wednesday.
Today, I received a letter in the mail from a classroom parent and I wanted to share it. I attempted to blur out the names...
Here is what it says:
Renee,
Just wanted to take a moment out of our hectic (but fun!) summer and say thank you for working with ___________ throughout the past year.
As you know, her growth in reading and writing has been genuinely amazing to watch, and you have provided the environment and instruction that has fostered this growth. Even more importantly, she absolutely loved being a part of your classroom, and is eagerly looking forward to learning more from you in the future. You have been a remarkable mentor and role model for ______________, and she is a better young lady because of your efforts.
Thanks so much for everything. We eagerly look forward to working with you in the future.
Hope that you are enjoying your summer.
Things like this totally make my day. I love my job, and it is so nice when parents show appreciation for doing what I love.
