You are three months old! This past month was probably your fastest yet in my mind.
Two weeks ago, you started daycare. You go to Dawn's with Alden, and other than the issue of you HATING bottles, you do okay there. I see you smile at Dawn every morning and I think you like it there just fine, but you have absolutely refused to drink a bottle. We've tried various bottles and nipples/flows and you pretty much scream the instant it touches your lips. This week, we're on spring break and I'm hoping to get you to take them better, but so far we're not having any luck.
Besides the bottle issue, you are a very easygoing baby. You are happy 95% of the time. You sleep well (you did better before you started daycare because now you spend your nights trying to catch up on your milk intake, so we're up several times a night again).

Your brothers still adore you. Alden always wants to make you laugh, and Leland always wants to snuggle you. They both have to hug and kiss you countless times a day, and they just enjoy being near you.
You weigh 15.4 pounds. You lost about a 1/2 pound during the first week and a half of daycare. But a wonderful young lady has offered to bring you to school for me around lunch time each day so I can nurse you. So you're making gains again, which is a relief for me.
You're wearing 6 month clothes, but just about ready to move up a size. Still in size 2 diapers, and we have yet to buy shoes, so I have no idea what shoe size you are.
On the last week of my maternity leave, we went to visit Grandma Josie, who you are named after. I wanted to go so many times during my leave, but I was worried about all the illnesses in the nursing home and I didn't want to subject you to that yuckiness. But on my last week, we went and had the best visit in a long time. Grandma just beamed when she saw you, and she held you, with help, for a few minutes.
Everywhere we go, people tell me how beautiful you are. Strangers stop me in the store to comment on your gorgeous eyes or overall beauty. Of course, I already know you're beautiful, but I think you should know that everyone else agrees.
Precious girl, you bring us so much joy. We absolutely adore you and are so thankful you're ours.
Love, Mom
